The Laurissilva forest is a unique botanical relic, classified by UNESCO as a Natural Heritage of Humanity, in 1991. These originated 20 million years ago in Continental Europe. Currently, the island of Madeira is the largest and most preserved forest spot on the planet. These forests are made up of several trees belonging to the 'LAURACEAE' family. It's located in Fanal, Paúl da Serra, Madeira Island, Portugal.
